Often words used during Buddhist services may be difficult to understand and sometimes even misunderstood. As a part of our Buddhist Education offerings, we will hold four classes explaining some of the terminology and concepts of Shin Buddhism.
Classes are held Wednesday evenings in June (6/5, 6/12, 6/19, and 6/26) at MBT from 7:15 pm (just after Zen Shin Meditation).
These classes serve as an introduction to Buddhism for beginners as well as those wishing to continue studying the Buddhist scriptures. Classes have a less formal structure to allow people to ask questions.
All classes are open to the public and there is no cost or registration required. If you would like more information please contact the temple at 312.943.7801 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
