On Sunday, Oct.15, current and former MBT Taiko members gathered to say “Thank You” to the MBT Sangha for their continued support in offering a place to practice weekly and to store our equipment since the day our group was formed. Over the past 40 years, more than 60 people have been a part of MBT Taiko.
Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch and homemade desserts and learned of our humble beginnings. We would also like to say thanks to the countless number of taiko teachers we have been so fortunate to encounter along the way. Sharing this art form while never losing sight of our ties to Buddhism and MBT is what has kept us going all these years.
Look for us to continue for many years to come (click to see more photos of MBT Taiko in action).
